SYMPTOM CHECKER
Here to Help
Our symptom checker will help you understand the type of issue you are facing. Nasal congestion and sinus pressure have many causes: colds, the flu, and allergies to name a few. The symptoms of a blocked nose are caused by inflammation and irritation of the nasal passage. In order to flush out the irritation, mucus is produced which can cause sinuses to become blocked. This leads to sinus pressure and pain.

While we hope that the information we are sharing will help you better understand your specific situation, it should never come as a replacement to seeking medical advise. Your doctor will be better positioned to understand what's wrong and prescribe the appropriate salinose product.
Nasal Congestion
Nasal congestion or "stuffy nose" occurs when nasal and adjacent tissues and blood vessels become swollen with excess fluid, causing a "stuffy" plugged feeling. Nasal congestion may or may not include a nasal discharge or "runny nose." Nasal congestion usually is just an annoyance for older children and adults.
Allergic Rhinitis
Allergic Rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is a type of inflammation in the nose which occurs when the immune system overreacts to allergens in the air. Signs and symptoms include a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, red, itchy, and watery eyes, and swelling around the eyes. The fluid from the nose is usually clear.
